The problem
The existing Medius website used generic SaaS copy and stock photography. It didn't communicate that Medius had fundamentally changed — from an AP tool to an agentic AI platform. The visual language was dated and didn't match the product's actual capabilities or its position as a Gartner Magic Quadrant leader.
- Generic SaaS aesthetic — indistinguishable from dozens of competitors.
- No visual representation of the AI/automation value proposition.
- Flat copy — didn't communicate the "agentic" shift in the product narrative.
The approach
I designed and built a full-page prototype to explore a new visual direction: dark, premium, and AI-native. Every section was treated as a conversion moment — the hero communicates the AI positioning immediately; the platform preview uses a scroll-driven reveal; the social proof section pairs analyst recognition with real customer stats.
- Aurora hero with animated light rays — premium and atmospheric, not generic.
- ContainerScroll platform preview — makes the product feel substantial without a live demo.
- Orbiting avatars CTA — social proof embedded directly in the call-to-action.
Key design decisions
Dark hero, light body
The dark aurora hero creates immediate impact and signals "AI product" — then the page opens up to light sections for readability. This contrast guides the eye and prevents visual fatigue across a long-scroll experience. The red brand colour bridges both halves.
Motion with purpose
Every animation serves the narrative: the aurora pulses to imply intelligence, the ContainerScroll reveal makes the platform look "unfolding", the FlipWords rotate through key value props. None of the motion is decorative — each piece reinforces what the section is selling.
Numbers before testimonials
The social proof section leads with hard metrics (3,000+ companies, 97% auto-match rate) before showing testimonial quotes. Analyst recognition badges anchor credibility. This ordering follows the reader's trust-building sequence: "show me the data, then tell me stories."
Selected screens

Hero — Aurora background with animated gradient, Gartner badge, dual CTA

Why Medius — Four pillar cards with FlipWords headline animation

Social proof — Orbiting avatars, testimonial, analyst recognition + live metrics

Pricing — Two-tier cards with feature parity table and add-on grid
Outcome
A high-fidelity prototype that redefined the visual language for Medius's AI positioning. The design established a new direction for the marketing site — dark/premium aesthetic, motion-rich but purposeful, and built to convert enterprise buyers.
